To All My Clients, aka ~ My loving friends:   Would you believe that it has been over five years since SoHo Urban Wax opened its doors in Islip? “Do I need an appointment? or can I just walk in?”

Well, you can do both. I never ever turn anyone away unless your hair is too short for me to wax and if you don’t mind waiting for me when I am with another client:). It is better that you make an appointment because I’d like to take my time with each client. I remember one “walk in” client that had come in for brows service and she was used to getting it done fast. For the record, my average brows service may takes up to 15 min and can go up to 20 min. “Tip me or Tip me not…”

Wow… This is an awkward thing to blog about but I did promise to blog anything and everything that has been brought up and/or heard through the grapevine. Lets clear the air once and for all:) Tips are given to show appreciation and it is not mandatory. With that said, would I tip the owner? If the services were good and he/she is the person who is performing the services then “Yes” but if he/she is sitting at the counter then “No”. Again, that is my opinion.
